Our rally has many French and many French speaking members. As a result we soon started a "Phrase du Jour" (a daily phrase) to unite our group!

The "Phrase du Jour" for this trip was: "Chaque minute perdue c'est un verre de vin en moins!"

The translation : "A minute lost is one less glass of wine!"

As a result the group was on time back to the bus in order to ensure plenty of time for the planned wine tasting and purchase later in the day!

 

First stop is a visit to Aphrodite's Birthplace...		then on to Pafos to visit the historic harbor, castle and mosaics then on to...
see St Paul's chrurch and his stone of flagulation.		Then it's on to Vasilikon Winery just outside Kathikas to taste the 2007 Gold Medallion winning white wine..
and of course to taste the excellent red ones too!!		Dave from Resolute enjoys the wines and buys a case!!
Then its on the bus again for the next stop ...		the historic  Chrysorrigiatissa Monastery which has not only an excellent church and museum but great wines as displayed  by Bill on Soleil Sans Fin.
Michelle of Tresigny and John Claude of Manifango catch a quick nap in the tranquil environment of the monastery after all the wine tasting and wine at lunch!		At home in the marina Jean and Bill on Soleil Sans Fin display their purchases of the day !
