At a Press Conference held at Netsel Marina in Marmaris on 9 Feb 2008 we donated 1100 lira on behalf of the members and friends of the RVYC September Flotilla to the Marmaris Chapter of the Cagdas Yasami Destekleme Dernegi  (a scholarship fund in Turkey to help needy college students fund their education).

In addition to coverage in local papers we were also on Channel 48 TV.

We appreciate the help of Netsel Marina in organizing this press event to help publicize the good works of this scholarship fund in Turkey.
